Have You Heard? SAFE SEX IS GREAT SEX!
First and foremost HAPPY NEW YEARS LADIES and GENTS!! Hope you guys have been planning to have a good new year. Time to get back to the topic of SEX! One thing I haven’t gotten to talk to everyone about yet was….. SAFE SEX! Now I know how good it is to feel EVERYTHINGduring sex; it makes the sexual contact so much more explosive! BUT we all have to be more careful about how we deal with our sexual tendencies. I know there are those who you trust with your life and would never expect them to put you in danger, but still somehow find ways to harm you. I always keep my stories anonymous and one of my co-workers gave me permission to tell her story, anonymously. She agreed to go under the name “Carrie.”
Carrie grew up with a guy named “Daniel”; they have been close friends since childhood; something like siblings. He would make sure he approved of those she dated before her father had even gotten to meet them and she made sure he stayed away from the loose girls around town. After years of growing up together, Daniel and Carrie decided they were more interested in each other than expected. After a few years of finally dating, Carrie and Daniel found themselves in love. Since they grew up from childhood, Carrie figured trust was the least of her worries dealing with Daniel until one disturbing afternoon.
While in bed Carrie kept finding herself scratching her “lady friend” thinking it was because she shaved too low until she seen the discharge in her panties after using the bathroom. Thinking nothing of it she continued her day normal as can be. The next few days there was discomfort in her vaginal area that was bothering her so bad she rushed to her OBGYN. While awaiting the results of why her lady friend had been disturbing her, she brung the problem to Daniels attention. Instead of being that best friend she had always knew Daniel turned into the dog she never knew him to be. He told her it could just be irritation caused from her soap, cheap underwear, or any product she puts close to her vaginal area just to take the attention off of himself.
Two weeks later Carrie got a call from her doctor stating that she had Chlamydia! Knowing that she had been with no one but Daniel in the past 5 years, Carrie sat in her room in tears. Later that night when Daniel had come home drunk, Carrie brought the situation at hands to his attention. Without a care in the world he replied, “Oh damn, it probably was from that stripper I slept with last month after that argument we had.” With anger in her heart and rage in her eyes, Carrie knocked Daniel out with the crock pot full of hot grease that had been sitting on the stove all afternoon. She had never felt so betrayed in her entire life, putting her trust into someone she had known her whole life still managed to hurt her not only mentally but physically as well.
After that night Carrie packed all of her things and stayed with a few family members who had lived close by. At first it was the hardest thing she felt she ever had to do but staying away from Daniel was her main priority next to getting her life back on track. She expressed how losing that kind of trust damaged her so bad mentally that she was afraid she would never trust again. This happened three years ago, “Carrie” is now healthy, married with a baby girl and one of my favorite co-workers. She was able to finally believe and trust in God then everything fell into place for her.
Even though Carrie was able to treat her STD don’t end up like her and put ALL your trust intoANYONE no matter how long you knew them. If you decide to get serious with someone always make sure to find out their sexual history/background and test results before putting yourself in a bad situation you may NOT get out of. People change and sometimes do not thing straight when love can be involved. Life has taught Carrie that even those close to us are capable of hurting us and putting our health in danger. Always put your health FIRST and never allow anyone to hold YOUR life in THEIR hands. YOU control your health and how you’re going to live your life. Live it well =) BE SAFE LADIES & GENTS! WRAP IT UP!!
